This initiative will serve as a community and family engagement activity while also showcasing businesses in our cities and adding fun Fall d cor to our towns How to Participate: Businesses will register to have a scarecrow through the Chamber by completing this event registration. Registration deadline is September 16th at noon. Your business will be responsible for the building\, decorating\, displaying and disposal of the scarecrow.Once you register you will be contacted with your city's display location prior to October 1st. Scarecrows cannot go up until October 1st and must be taken down no later than November 4thWe ask for scarecrows to be decorated family-friendly. We encourage you to include your business logo and/or sign by your scarecrow for an additional advertisement opportunity Your registration includes social media recognition where your scarecrow will be featured in our Scarecrow Decorating Contest on Facebook. The business with the most likes will be recognized and win a cash prize.We will also be hosting a community engagement activity\, Selfie with a Scarecrow Saturday EVERY Saturday for the month of October.How to Register:All Scarecrow in the Cities participants must register either with the Member or Non-Member registration option. All first-time Scarecrow in the Cities participants must complete a one-time purchase of signage in order to participate in the event. Signage is re-usable each year you participate moving forward as long as the sign is not damaged\, broken\, or lost. Chamber staff is responsible for collecting signs at the conclusion of the event.If you participated last year and Chamber staff does not have your sign\, we will reach out.
