DESCRIPTION:Dear Prospective Vendor\,The Madison County Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the Taste of Madison County on May 9\, 2026 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM in downtown Comer. Thank you for your interest in participating as a vendor! Please note that all vendors must be based in Madison County. We are thrilled to continue our public voting component\, where attendees will sample your offerings and vote for their favorites\, with a cash prize awarded to the winning vendor.Food Vendor Sampling:Food vendors are not required to provide a sample for every attendee. Each attendee will receive 5 tickets\, which can be redeemed for samples at vendors of their choice\, limiting each attendee to 5 samples total. Attendees will exchange a ticket with you for each sample.To ensure a fair and diverse selection\, all food vendors must submit a menu along with their application. This helps maintain variety and provides an equitable experience for all vendors and attendees.Important DatesApplication and menu due: Deadline has been extended to March 31st\, by 12:00 noonVendors will be contacted by April 4 regarding selection\, based on availability and fit for the eventEvent Code of ConductThe Madison County Chamber of Commerce is committed to principles of integrity\, professionalism\, accountability\, confidentiality\, respect\, and honesty. Vendors are expected to uphold these standards in all interactions with Chamber members\, stakeholders\, and the public. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Violation of the Event Code of Conduct may result in dismissal from the event and/or future Chamber events.Vendor RestrictionsFood & Beverage: All food must comply with local health department requirements. Please contact the Madison County Health Department for details.Artisan Market: Craft and art vendors may only sell original\, handcrafted items. The sale of commercial items is prohibited. Vendors in violation may be asked to remove unapproved items or leave the premises. Fees are non-refundable.Setup InformationThis is a rain-or-shine event (unless safety is compromised due to severe weather). No refunds for inclement weather.Setup takes place the morning of the event.
